Although situated in an urbanisation with communal swimming pool, the owners with their young family, understood that having their own private pool would not only considerably impact their family holidays but would also change their house into a desirable holiday home with the potential to generate rental income.
During the first summer with the new pool the kids enjoyed a fantastic holiday rarely leaving the water! The newly paved terrace is finished with a special pool edging tile and provides ample patio area for soaking up the sun and “al fresco” dining.
As the pool was excavated at ground level there was no obvious under build area to provide space for pool machinery, as a result a room was formed, set into the garden terrace, which provides a practical and aesthetically pleasing solution. The garden terraces are finished with natural dry stone wall. Stairs with risers, tiled with an Andalusian design tile, lead up to a shady patio area under the pine trees.
All work was carried out in the absence of the owner with the exception of a couple of visits when tiles and finishes were chosen.
Family Fun. Beautiful Tiling
