Although building techniques advance and adapt with improved products and systems, often building design takes its inspiration from the past. This Project reflects a bold design by the Anvana Architecture studio and represents a modern example of brutalist architecture.
The beauty of raw concrete can give cause for debate. For some raw concrete is reveered for its shifting personality and its organic singularity, for others, it is simply an ugly reminder of sprawling high rise social housing developments and institutions created in1960´s and 1970´s by renowned architects of the likes of Le Corbusier.
Whatever your take on it, a cast patterned concrete construction requires an exacting level of precision and highly skilled artisan workforce. Architecturally and technically speaking, a comprehensive, in depth and forward thinking planning process is imperative.
With over 670 m2 living area on a 1300 m2 plot, with splendid sea and mountain views, this is one of our most recent and ambitious projects. The villa is designed with 4 bedrooms, outdoor and indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, and domotics. This cast concrete structure with its natural wood patterning, large glazed areas, Stone, hardwood brise soleil and high spec. finishes, combine to produce an outstanding Contemporary Villa.
